No, it's not a chapter in a foodie-inspired Shades of Grey spinoff, but actually just dehydrated tomato sauce engineered to melt when placed on a burger. Aesthetically, ketchup leather is reminiscent of thinly sliced beef jerky, made from the skin of someone suffering from severe eczema.
