James Franco Paints Giant Pot Leaf for Bryan Cranston

James Franco and Bryan Cranston appeared on Conan to talk about their upcoming Xmas flick, Why Him? Apparently, Cranston and Franco became real buds on set because Franco gifted his buddy a giant canvas painting of a bud leaf after they wrapped. Cranston even joked that (maybe) Franco used actual weed in his very realistic art rendition of a pot leaf. Our guess is that J.F. definitely used real weed in some way while creating said masterpiece.

"I brought it home to my wife. We've been together for almost 30 years, and we have a nice little Connecticut home, and I said, 'Honey, where do you think this would fit?'" Cranston said. "And she said, 'I don't know if it would fit anywhere.' ”

Franco says it goes over the bed. Duh.

Franco is a celebrated fine artist, at least on Instagram, and he says he painted most of the weird pieces of art that are featured in the film.

Watch the full clip with Franco's amazing paintings. Near the end, you’ll catch a great view of his weed-leaf masterpiece.

Merry Christmas, Bryan Cranston!
