On Thursday, Keith McCarty, CEO and founder of Eaze—the medical marijuana delivery app commonly described as the "Uber of weed"—hosted the company’s first Reddit "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) session.
McCarty founded Eaze in San Francisco in 2014. The app is presently live in more than 100 cities, delivering weed via its platform to more than 100,000 users.
The company was recently nominated by TechCrunch as the “Best New Startup of 2015” for the tech lifestyle hub’s February 2016 Crunchie Awards.
Eaze exists at the intersection of the legal cannabis industry and the rapidly growing sharing economy.
In the AMA, McCarty addresses questions from users of the service. He also interacts with Eaze drivers, who according to the startup, can earn up to $16 per hour, delivering marijuana on the platform.
